Does anyone recommend any car hire companies in NRB? I need to hire a 4x4 for 2 weeks in July and would be keen to hear suggestions/experiences.

Do read the small print of your rental contract. I've never seen such complicated rules (and not in the interest of the hirer!) around insurance as in Kenya. Hiring a car in Kenya is very handy, but it's very expensive.
